Lars Von Trier Strikes Again!

I just realized that Lars Von Trier’s latest masterpiece is getting unleashed to the world today and I HAVE MY TICKET minions! I’m going to the first London screening of it RIGHT NOW in Soho!

Antichrist is the film all Cannes has been waiting to see. Its co-star Charlotte Gainsbourg has compared it to pornography. Director Lars von Trier says he was depressed when making it. Audience members, many of whom booed and laughed derisorily when it finished, left the competition screening frothing that he was sick, a misogynist, responsible for the most offensive film they’d ever seen. Right, I’m off now (summer hours gets me off at 3pm) and then I’m going stroll down to the National Gallery to see the latest landscape exhibit (COROT to MONET – more HERE) then Ill head off to the Corzun Theatre to take in the film – THEN Ill head home for a Battlestar Gallatica marathon THEN tomorrow I’m heading to The Rockstar’s place in Twickenham to take in the Springbok victory – GO BOKKE!!!
